| Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you following our excellent holiday in Vietnam. I would like to thank you for taking the time to treat us to a cup of tea in Hanoi but more importantly could you please pass on mine and Lynne’s thanks to everybody who was involved in our tour, from Nhan who put the whole trip together, to all the guides and drivers who escorted us during the trip. The whole experience was wonderful, the accommodation was first class, I enjoyed all of the food and we certainly saw everything we wanted too. I must specifically thank Dan our guide in Hanoi, on hearing that I wasn’t a great fish fan he contacted the boat in Halong Bay to tell them, I must have been very popular with the chef on board who prepared meat dished just for me. The food on the junk was absolutely fantastic even more so when you consider what facilities were available in the galley.
The highlight of the trip was probably kayaking in Halong Bay at 7 in the morning, when the guide on the boat suggested we set off at 6.30 I thought I may just stay in bed, we mutually agreed that 7 was a better time. We were in the water at 7 and made our way to the lake in the middle of the islands , access through the cave, when we got in there we were the only 3 boats in the whole place, we stopped rowing………………..just silence, a couple of birds hovering overhead a family of monkeys playing in a recess in the rocks……..it was pure magic. We did a circuit of the lake all on our own, it did get much busier as we were leaving so we were really glad of the early start.
We certainly got a flavor of Vietnam from the hustle and bustle of HCMC (which I loved) to the more sedate pace in Hoian, it was brilliant
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jewel Tours to anybody wanting to visit Vietnam, or the surrounding countries
Once again many thanks for organizing the whole thing for us

| Your support from beginning to end was always what we expected, often more than anyone could expect. You were frequently in touch with us by phone and email to be sure that all was going well. When near the end when the airport in Bangkok shut down you found the most cost effective way out of SE Asia. We enjoyed our trip and were exceptionally pleased by your service throughout. |

| Dinh, you were great. Many thanks for all the extra work, trouble you did to make our trip more pleasant. Even after we paid you, you continued to help us and keep on top of all situations. Your extra help with the airline reservations at the end was really appreciated.
The whole trip thanks to your planning went very well. The guides were all very good especially Sophea Ting from Siem Reap. He was not only knowledgeable but also flexible and very considerate. His English was excellent.

| My wife and i have now been home just short of a week after our trip to Singapore,Vietnam and Cambodia and I thought that it was time that I should pen this short message to you.
Our trip was - in every respect -outstanding and both Myfanwy & I are singing the praises not only of the countries visited but also for the organisation of the trip by Dragon Travel and particularly by Mr Shiu. From start to finish our holiday was what we had hoped and one can not expect better than that!
Specifically worthy of mention are;
The attention of Mr Shiu in drawing up the package to best meet our needs.
The clear & concise paperwork associated with the holiday and its timely delivery.
Excellent choice of hotels and of guides.
Your response and that of your local agent and the flexibility shown in meeting our needs when we were 'on the road'; eg cutting short our stay in Ho Tram by a day and the appointment of a new guide for our stay in HCMC.
The super cookery course arranged for my wife in HCMC.
In short , so many highlights and so much to remember , all brought about by your office here in UK and in situ;thank you. We will have no hesitation in recommending Dragon Travel to others and of hopefully using your offices again for our appetite for the Far East whetted!
In no way contradicting what I have said above and recognising that all travellers have different needs /expectations, a few observations;
The importance of the local guide to the success of the holiday.
Hue perhaps merits more than a night stop particularly in the excellent Saigon Morin .
Hoi An also merits more than a couple of nights , particularly in the Life Resort.
Ho Tram is a good spot for a break from the rigours of touring and the spa is first class. The resort is however somewhat isolated and this should be made known to travellers. Should the weather have been bad(ie wet) little to do there. 2 nights considered sufficient -even for we older travellers! It is also felt that the resort could be noisy 'in season' as it is a family resort and eg the sea water pool includes a slide. The Life resort at Hoi An from our viewpoint -a perfect place to chill out whilst offering within walking distance many alternatives for eating and exploring at leisure.
In closing a great holiday for which our thanks go particularly to Mr Shiu and your office in HCMC (Jewel Tours) who could not have been more responsive to our requests; would you please pass on our thanks to your HCMC office.

| The tour guide was very knowledgeable, always smiling and very friendly, pleasant personality. The driver was also caring, transport was good for our group size. We enjoyed the tour because our tour guide Ms Yeng's friendly & smiling nature.We're sure we would comeback. We did a lot of shopping and still not finished. Thanks a lot. |

| The tour guide (Ms Thoa) was really good and perfect for our family. She was very helpful at all times (eg preparing raincoats etc). The meals at the restaurant was visited twice were definitely the best. We would recommended Thoa to our friends. |

| the service and experience shown by tour guide has been very good. The sights and visits have been just what we expected and a pleasure to see.
Although it has been a compact tour, it was given us a great insight into Vietnamese life and culture. I am sure we will return and use your company again. |

| North: Exactly as we'd hoped the tour would be very useful for doing as much as possible in a short period of time, plus a very informative guide (Mr Bao).
Center: very well organized, did everything we wanted to do. Accommodation was excellent and our tour guide (Mr Tru) was extremely knowledgeable. There was may be a little bit of information overland but overall very good.
South: The more personal and far more relaxed nature of our tour guide in Ho Chi Minh City (Ms Giang) was a breath of fresh air. |

| Although mentioned by guide, more emphasis on explaining it is possible to be cheated by street vendors (be careful handing over money). Trip from Hanoi to Catba has been fantastic so far. A sensitive question but important for groups coming from Europe/US/ Western is to be advised how to handle local tipping - tour leader from West would appreciate this information and would not be offended. We will come back with more groups soon. We can discuss tour packages etc to sell. Thank you. |

| Tho was excellent. He looked after us very well, sorted out any problems that arose and gave us really good advice on restaurants and things to do during our free time. The children really loved the boat trip on Halong Bay.
Very organized, wonderful tour. Informative guide (Mr Nguyen Phai). Happy to recommend to others. |
